In November 2020, Dubai Design Week featured the *Madar* exhibition, curated by Beiruti designer Ghassan Salameh, which showcased the design industry in the Middle East. The exhibition brought together 42 exhibitors from Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Twelve Degrees was highlighted for its innovative experiments in creating new materials, such as biodegradable bioplastics mixed with palm leaves and oils recovered from food waste, which can be used to produce furniture.
